Animals Need Me is a highly committed organization which began in 2012, focusing on helping stray dogs and cats in the city of Shkoder, Albania. Our efforts consist of:

·         Raising awareness on the issue of stray animals in schools and in the media.

·         Massive spay/neuter campaigns.

·         Providing medical assistance for sick or injured stray dogs and cats.

·         Providing shelter for those animals who cannot survive in the street.

·         Finding adoptive families, locally and internationally, for the dogs and cats we foster.

Child trafficking is a crime – and represents the tragic end of childhood

Child trafficking refers to the exploitation of girls and boys, primarily for forced labor and sexual exploitation. Children account for 27% of all the human trafficking victims worldwide, and two out of every three child victims are girls.

Children are often trafficked for commercial sexual exploitation or for labor, such as domestic servitude, agricultural work, factory work and mining, or they’re forced to fight in conflicts. The most vulnerable children, particularly refugees and migrants, are often preyed upon and their hopes for an education, a better job or a better life in a new country.

Every country in the world is affected by human trafficking, and as a result, children are forced to drop out of school, risk their lives and are deprived of what every child deserves – a future.

Three Women

UN Women is the UN organization delivering programmes, policies and standards that uphold women’s human rights and ensure that every woman and girl lives up to her full potential.

The oceans connect us all. They cover two-thirds of our blue planet and contain most of the life on Earth. They are as important to us as they are vast.

But the oceans face many threats — from overfishing, habitat destruction, oil and plastic pollution, and the killing of threatened species like turtle, whales, and sharks. That’s where Oceana comes in. We win science-based policies in important coastal countries that rebuild abundant and biodiverse oceans.

A restored, healthy, and abundant ocean can help fight climate change, sustain livelihoods, and feed more than 1 billion people a healthy seafood meal every day, forever. Together, we can save the oceans and help feed the world.

This organisation collaborates with local communities to conserve the natural resources we all depend on and build a future in which people and nature thrive. Together with partners at all levels, they transform markets and policies toward sustainability, tackle the threats driving the climate crisis, and protect and restore wildlife and their habitats.

Greenpeace is an independent, global environmental campaigning organisation. Our mission is to ensure Earth’s ability to nurture life in all its diversity. Through creative confrontation and non-violent direct action, we take on the big issues and seek to bring about systemic change.

We act on the knowledge that people are part of nature, on the certainty that a better world is possible, and on the evidence that when we work together, we can make a difference.
